TRAVEL PREP/INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE

Multiple American based airlines and several European carriers are among the airlines that can be used for this trip. We recommend booking at least 7 months in advance if you want to use frequent flyer miles.

INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE

United and Delta are the best airlines you can use to book international airfare for this tour. Otherwise, you may use American or other airlines through France, Italy or England.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

A valid passport is required for international travel and must be valid for 6 months after the return date of travel and have two blank pages available per country visited. No visa is required for American and Canadian passport holders for this tour.

HEALTH

The Center for Disease Control suggests that all travelers be up to date on routine vaccines, including Chickenpox (Varicella), Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, Flu (influenza), Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Polio, and Shingles. For this tour, it is especially important to be up to date on your Hepatitis A and B vaccines. The areas we will be visiting are not in a sensitive zone with risk of malaria, we are also traveling in April, which is the end of the summer, so the exposure to mosquitos is minimal to none, consult with your physician about whether to take Malaria pills.

ATTIRE / WEATHER

Mostly casual. Bring a light jacket or sweater, jeans, khakis and shorts are fine. Comfortable shoes are a must. The hotel offers laundry service, although it can be pricy.

Expect variable weather while traveling in Victoria Falls. End of the summer is typically warm and sunny, so it should be magnificent. It can get chilly in the evenings. We recommend that you pack a light rain jacket or waterproof jacket.
