Impact Encounters was established in 2016 by Duni Bauta, Founder and current President.
He is a graduate of the Hospitality School in his native Cuba where he also taught courses on culture and travel. After college and a successful career in entertainment as an actor/singer/dancer, Duni followed his heart, beginning his journey around the world — first in Turkey and subsequently in Austria, Greece and France. He moved to the U.S in 2010 where he fulfilled his passion for travel leading hundreds of trips to Cuba, Latin America, Africa and Europe. His love for curating authentic experiences for travelers around the globe making him a great match when planing a vacation.
An avid hiker, challenges are on Duni’s agenda every day. You can find him and his team taking spontaneous weekend getaways around European cities as well as exploring framers’ markets in Asia or leading a Safari in Africa.
Duni’s vast knowledge of contemporary art, food and wine allows him to charm his way through developing and executing tours and experiences that provide unique opportunities to interact with the locals the way you wouldn’t otherwise.
His favorite places to visit are Cape Town, Lisbon, Tuscany and Madrid. Among many others.
